Turquoise Diamond Cedar Chest - SOLD

This cedar chest is AMAZING... I can't believe I don't have a before picture because the transformation is huge. It was so dated and dingy before and now its so pretty and fresh. This piece is a little more distressed then we normally do but it helps to bring out the super cool diamond pattern on the front.

 

Would be perfect storage at the end of a bed, against a wall or even as a hall bench. Add some cute cushions and you're good to go!

 

Painted with soft turquoise milk paint, distressed and then sealed with all natural beeswax. The top has been stained with rich dark walnut and then sealed with 2 coats of durable poly.

Custom Orders - Black, Black and More Black

We've been slow getting new items posted lately and that's mostly because we've been doing a lot of great custom orders. The last few weeks have been filled with lots of black paint and dark stain. Here's just a couple of the most recent pieces that we have been working on.

 

 I love these tables... we had a customer that wanted to come and see a table we had for sale... that table didn't work for her so she picked out something from our stock, chose her colours and away we went. A couple days later she decided that she had another table (the round one) at home that she would like painted to match. Its great that they belong together but aren't too matchy.

 

This dresser set is for a little boys "BIG BOY" room... a past customer emailed us looking for a simple style dresser. We didn't have anything that we thought would work so we spent a few days hunting furniture on Kijiji and came across this perfect dresser that just needed a coat of paint and some stain. They loved it! She later remembered the 2 night tables that she already had and we painted them to match. This was meant to be because they look great together and this little family was really excited to get them home.

Stone Grey Vintage Tallboy - SOLD

This is a really cool dresser. We just love the chunky old wooden knobs and the orangey rub through on this piece. Perfect at home or for the cottage. TONS of storage and a super great look.

 

We used Rushmore Chalk and Mineral Paint by American Paint Company. There hasn't been a lot of opportunity for us to use chalk paint but we are really excited about the way this turned out and definitely will be using it again!

 

Ok back to the dresser... painted, distressed and then sealed with beeswax. Top was stained a black/ebony stain and then sealed with 2 coats of durable poly. Hardware is original and painted to match. Two of the five dovetailed drawers also have a removable center divider.

 

Measures 33 1/2 inches wide x 18 1/2 inches deep x 48 inhes high.
