A Bit of What We've Been Up Too....

Lately we've had a lot of custom pieces to work on from both returning and new clients.

It's so much fun to take a piece that has sentimental value to people and give it new life! This pretty bed and dressing table are going into a little girls room and the furniture has been passed down through the family. The client asked if we had a cute chair to go with the table and wanted it to be a fun colour to pop in the room.

 

 

This amazing East Lake style buffet was something we had in our inventory and the client picked it out to use as a media stand. The center drawer was converted to flip down to allow access to the controls inside.

 

 

We also had this great dresser waiting for the right person to come along and love it as much as we do. The client picked a pretty grey and wanted to keep the look of the awesome original wooden moustache pulls.

Custom Orders - Black, Black and More Black

We've been slow getting new items posted lately and that's mostly because we've been doing a lot of great custom orders. The last few weeks have been filled with lots of black paint and dark stain. Here's just a couple of the most recent pieces that we have been working on.

 

 I love these tables... we had a customer that wanted to come and see a table we had for sale... that table didn't work for her so she picked out something from our stock, chose her colours and away we went. A couple days later she decided that she had another table (the round one) at home that she would like painted to match. Its great that they belong together but aren't too matchy.

 

This dresser set is for a little boys "BIG BOY" room... a past customer emailed us looking for a simple style dresser. We didn't have anything that we thought would work so we spent a few days hunting furniture on Kijiji and came across this perfect dresser that just needed a coat of paint and some stain. They loved it! She later remembered the 2 night tables that she already had and we painted them to match. This was meant to be because they look great together and this little family was really excited to get them home.

Three Tier Shelf - SOLD

Here's an oldie but a goodie... we gave this old shelf an updated look with a simple coat of white milk paint. This piece was in my grandparents house and I remember looking for batteries or rubber bands that would be in the cubby section. Great for any room this piece will add lots of cute charm and character and last for many more years.

 

Measures 23 inches wide x 29 1/2 inches high x 7 1/2 inches deep.
